Free OS OpenData™
As of 1st of April 2010 the Ordnance Survey have made a selection of products available for free. These products are referred to as the OS OpenData™ and can be downloaded directly from the Ordnance Survey (in Shape and DXF formats) without charge or restriction of use.
Pitney Bowes Software recognises the value of these datasets and the significance of opening them up to the community in such a way. Therefore in support of the Ordnance Survey initiative Pitney Bowes Software (an OS Premier Partner) has translated the data into the MapInfo Native TAB format to assist you all in using this data as conveniently as possible at no additional charge. The datasets are available for free download via our Geosk™ data as a service portal.
